The Checkered Flag has fell on the 2010 racing season at Penton Raceways. The Staff and officials of Penton Raceway would like to thank all the fans and racers for their continued support throghout the year. Chase Edge returned to victory lane on the last night of competition for the NeSmith Dirt Late Models. Edge won the final battle, but the war belongs to Jeff Landrum who is the Late Model Champion at Penton in 2010! Congratulation to the driver simply known as “Landrum” and the Pure Gold racing team. Sam Moore grabbed the win in the Limited Sportsman division, while Chris Arnett captured the championship in the division. Richie Stevens picked up the Hobby win, while the ever quiet gentleman David Martin picked up the Hobby Championship. Cord Dodgen formerly Chase Edge’s “Mini-Me” has officially stepped out of the shaddow’s by capping the season’s end with a win, and solidfying the 2010 Bandit Championship. Cord recently said, “Heck I am taller than Chase now, so that makes him my `Mini-Me`.” Congratulations to all the 2010 champions and their teams for a great season!
